What is Yammer?
Yammer is used for private communication within organizations and is an example of enterprise social software. The tool was originally developed as an internal communication system for the genealogy website Geni. Access to a Yammer network is determined by a user’s Internet domain so that only individuals with appropriate email addresses may join their respective networks.

What do we think?
We have several clients who use Yammer to manage their internal communications, assigning tasks and collaborate on projects. Overall the basic freemium service offer a solid foundation with some great features and is easy to use. The system is easy to setup, and you will have your team ready to use their new tool within minutes.
If you are looking to collaborate on documents, the office 365 option is great.
Overall this is a good â€œInternal / Enterprise Social Networkâ€ solution for the price range and by compared with other services out there.
